What is Alexandrite Moveo?
Alexandrite Moveo is not a wavelength of its own, but a way to deliver Alexandrite light (755 nm) in a smarter way. Instead of single powerful shots from a distance, the Moveo handpiece works:
- in direct contact with the skin via a sapphire tip
- with lower fluence per pulse, but many fast pulses
- with in-motion technology, where you sweep over a defined area
This means that:
- more of the energy is absorbed into the skin instead of being reflected away
- the hair follicles are gradually heated to destructive temperatures
