THINGS TO THINK ABOUT AFTER THE TREATMENT
You may be sore, swollen and red for a few days after the treatment. Blisters may also appear on the skin, which you must be very careful with.
You should cool the area thoroughly with an ice pack at home as long as it feels warm and preferably also apply aftercare cream. Do not pick at any blisters.
You should also avoid direct sunlight for at least 1 week after treatment.
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and swimming pools with chlorinated water for the first week.
Some people experience hypo- or hyperpigmentation after laser treatment. This means that the skin itself either becomes lighter or darker in the area of the tattoo. This is rarely permanent but can take 6-12 months to return to normal.
